Who we are

Freeborn Design (“we”, “us”) is a creative and technical studio operating this website, freeborn-design.com. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at teach.freeborn@gmail.com.

What we collect

Contact form and email. When you send us an inquiry we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, the service and budget you select, and your message.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics. These logs are not used to identify you.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-2C900HPJMZ) to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device type. Google acts as our processor and may set cookies for this purpose. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your inquiry, discuss a possible project, and — if you become a client — to deliver and administer that work. The lawful bases are our legitimate interest in running the studio and, where relevant, steps towards a contract at your request.

Sharing

Your data is processed only by the providers needed to run this site and our email: our web host and our email provider. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.

Retention

Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up and keep a record of our conversation, then deleted. Client records may be kept longer where required for tax or contractual purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to its use, or request a copy of it. Email us at the address above and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we handle your data.

Changes

If we update this policy we'll post the new version here and revise the date above.
